Hi!

Can anybody detail the sleeping bodies thing?

I get that a sleeping body is not simulated and, if a sleeping body is touched or some force is applied to it it wakes up.

But what does it mean to specifically put a body to sleep? Isn't that automatic?
And to specifically wake up a body for no reason?

Yeah, it is automatic. Normally you will never call the WakeUp or PutToSleep functions.

Some games might use this ability to build a setup that is normally unstable by putting everything to sleep. Then when some game event happens, you can just wake all the relevant bodies. For example, a landslide.

I wonder if the PutToSleep function is documented anywhere? I did not see it in the chm file or manual...

Ah, that's because it doesn't exist. It must have been in some other physics engine I wrote.
