I have spent several months now learning Box2d and am starting to get very good at it, yet it seems there will always be more to learn/discover. What has impressed me most is how many experts have been willing to help along the way.

Everyone knows (or has experienced it) that the main reason good apps do not make money is because awareness for the app is lacking. People typically download/buy those apps they've heard about.
Plan A: publish your most-excellent-app as "Johnny G's Most Excellent App".
- The problem is that most people have never heard of Johnny G except for his network of friends and family. Hence, unless Johnny G. has a ton of money to spend advertising his app and his name to make them both common knowledge, his app is doomed to the eternal app abyss (unless somehow, word-of-mouth gets hold of it).
Plan B: get your app published by an established publishing company.
- Yes, while we would all like established game publishers to buy our apps from us, chances are they won't because they already have their own teams of developers and ideas and simply do not have the resources to take on every project that comes their way. They will be interested once your app has demonstrated market success, however; so, don't write them off forever, but until then...
Plan C: partner with a publisher that isn't established (yet), but soon will be.
