Erin - I think he wants you to bless it in some way that encourages porters and wrappers.

Re: Box2Scene Format (read: port maintainers & Erin)

Have you seen my old attempt at this? If you are going to make an all encompassing format, you should consider what already exists for that purpose before creating your own, or else you are just making the problem worse. Mine's for 2.0, though, so I guess it's ok. I have a half finished upgrade to 2...

Re: Alternate Physics Engine for WCK

Um, but the alchemy one is a much higher simulation quality. It has no interpenetration, and doesn't wobble so much. You should at least adjust parameters so they are qualitatively similar before making a framerate comparison. Still, seeing as you've got it hooked up, it would make sense to continue...

Re: Aligning to an edge - platform character on a slope

Contacts report a "normal" which is available both with GetContactList() and events. In either case, use GetWorldManifold() to get it in world co-ordinates.

Re: How do I model snot in Box2D?

It's just a bunch of circles connected by springs. The outermost one is heaviest, so rotating works well. But I got all my top scores by flicking. The springs may have a different force response to Box2D springs, so getting identical behaviour might not be possible soley using box2d primitives. But ...

Re: Resizing a box

With 2.1, you may simply directly edit shapes, providing you don't alter the number of vertices of polygons.

Re: b2_maxPolygonVertices in box2dflash 2.0.0

It's not too bad to increase. Construction of polygons becomes more expensive. It's only 8 as it is rare to need more.
2.1a supports no limit on this.

Re: Prismatic joints not working.

I suggest you put this in as an issue with Box2D, if it is not one already.
